GI BLUES

That's what i decided to name my pouch. As marcher, I know most of you name yours. Is that name taken? I figure GI (gastrointestinal) and blues (because it sounds like it's tooting a horn!) Am one week postop (open) and doing ok cept for back pain. ps I actually laid awake last night trying to come up with a name...I need a life!!!

Welcome Home Ellen , and Congrats it sounds like you are doing well. The last few nights i have been having a problem with back pain. I think im trying to get way to creative with ways to sleep which is leading me to the back pain. You think you need a life hehe, the highlight of my day (night) is when i get to go to bed and see if i can come up with another simi - comfortable position in which i can fall asleep in, but i haven't named my pouch yet hehe so i guess i have something to look forward to tonight very nice name by the way GI Blues lol.

I could only sleep on my back during my first five nights out. I found that I didn't have back pain if I put a pillow under my knees. HTH, and I also hope you get a good night's sleep! Hugs, -Marcie -10
