One Month Anniversaries -- Round-Up
Hi everyone. I was wondering as we all begin to celebrate our one month anniversaries, could we begin to post our one-month weight loss stats? Of course, you don't have to if you don't want to, but it might be fun to share this information with each other on a monthly basis. I go for my one-month check-up tomorrow and will know what I've lost at that time. I will let you all know. By the way, this is weight loss from the day of your surgery, not before, and not including anything you lost prior to your surgery! Thanks. Maureen
Because I dont want to get wrapped up in "pounds" and I think we could all easily do that. I myself would rather share something I have done over the past month that prior to surgery (actually weightloss) I couldnt have done.....I have been able to walk 3-5 miles everyday with my husband. Because for me this is a "getting healthier taking care of me" journey rather than a weightloss one I find my greatest satisfacation comes from getting up the following morning of a physically demanding day and being able to walk to the bathroom with out my feet aching and waddling like a duck, knowing I can do it all over again today and feel like a milion bucks. Best wishes to all, Janelle
I had my WLS on March 03, 2004. As of today I have not had any complications. I eat something 2 times that made me feel I was going to upchuck but I didnt greatfully. I have lost 34 LBS I feel great. I am still thankful for being blessed to have the surgery. I can not wear the clothes I wore prior to the surgery. I have given almost all my clothes away. And I am afraid to buy to much.
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE ELSE.
Julie
