Home at last.
Well I made it I am officially home and hopefully on the losing side
I had my surgery on Wens. 3/31 and the Dr. ran into some problems with scar tissue and nicked a portion of my small bowel so he had to do a small resection, the weird thing is that I was having terrific pain in my right side for a while before surgery and since he went in and unattatched things it feels soooo much better. I also had an episode of Atrial FIb and had to be moved to the cardiac unit for a Cariazem Drip so that set me back a day or two....but I am HOME
and being honest I feel pretty crappy but I know this will get better....not hungry at least and trying to get my protein in for the first time today, stilll have a JP drain in but am going to have it out on THurs. hopefully!VERY TIRED after any walking feel I need to sleep, I know this will also get better. Have I whined enough...LOL

Glad to hear your on the road to recovery after a bumpy hospital stay......get plenty of rest, drink lots of water, and get in some protein when you can. You just had major surgery so it'll knock you on your butt for a while, but everyday does get better and better.

Welcome home. I am on week 3 and I am finally feeling like I am on the road to recovery. Do not be surprised if every day you feel you have something else going wrong. I did and I felt like I was my mom who is Dr and drug dependant. But some of my problems were real problems and had to be handled. Do not be shy. Tell the nurse or Dr. The nurse was calling me every day any way so was a good place to mention all the wierd symptons I was having.
Now that the worst is over, get your rest and take care of yourself.
