This is what was going on.
-My sister didn't know where to post all of this. So she was just posting it to my page. Renee'
So here is what was happening. I came home at 12midnight last night. I have a question. Did anyone want to just drink and drink water. I feel like I can' t get enough water. I had 101 temp when I went to the dr. but my lungs were clear.

Renee' came through surgery after a long 6 1/2 hours. She was running a fever and now has pnemonia that they are watching very close. They found 3 hernias that were reparied and also some scar tissue on her bowel from previous surgeries. She was in alot of pain and still is. She went for her upper GI and they weren't able to do it since the liquid wasn't moving through. We are very concerned about her but will keep praying. I will update more as I know. -- Cheryl Moore

Thanks everyone for the prayers it is about 10:00 a.m. here and I called and Renee' is in surgery as we speak. I spoke to her at 4:45 this morning and she was still fighting the cold and worried they wouldn't do surgery. But she is in there now. Please continue to keep her in your prayers throughout the rest of the surgery and her recovery. I will update you as soon as I know that she is out of surgery. -- Cheryl Moore

Wow Renee - glad you are home....obviously you're doing better if you were released.
As for the thirst - I was very very thirsty my first couple of days but found I couldn't drink enough water to help because it just sat wrong on my tummy.
Take care of yourself and keep us updated on how you are feeling!

Along with the water, don't forget those sugar-free popsicles. They're really good, particularly when you're warm with a fever. I had a couple of infections after surgery, first bladder/kidney, then a small brush with pneumonia. I'm sure they're watching you closely and keeping an eye on that fever. Since 101 is a significant fever, don't hesitate to bug them. It took five phone calls for me to get them to locate my first infection, since they didn't want to pull me into the emergency room for nothing and some people do run a fever that goes away. Mine went up and when I hit the magic "101," they yanked me in. It was hard to sort out what infection I had among the many aches and pains post op.
In any case, you can't call the doctor too much. Some people hesitate to, so just remember they get paid a lot for this.

UH OH can't
lurk without being seen my pics are up. Ok, didn't say that quite right earlier. When I got to the hospital to have my surgery I had a 101 temp. but they did surgery anyways because the said my lungs sounded clear. Then They did a chest x-ray and saw that I still had some pneumonia on my left side. I was soooooo sick.
I ended up with the highest temp at 103. I kept haveing to go back for an x-ray 4 and 5 times a day because nothing was working right. Anyway I just wanted to make sure of the water thing because of not supposed to drink at certain times. An sid. OMG I WANT TO GULP. I know if I was doing too much I would have had problems in the hospital
