When will I start losing?
Sandy...hang in there! I'm alot like the others that have replied to you and I can't believe that I'm not alone. My wls was 3/11 & I've only lost 18 lbs. I think we just want it to fall off as soon as we get home from the hospital. But just know in yout heart that it will be gone soon enough. Just think in 3-6 months you'll be a different person. And to piggy back on what the others have stated... make sure that you get in your protien and some exercising....I started walking a mile a day..hopefully increasing weekly.
Good luck and know that you WILL succeed!!
Sandi,
I think you are doing GREAT. It is my personal belief that those folks claiming 40 and 50lb losses in the first month are either suffering from serious malabsorption or a tiny case of exzageriatingits.
We are all in this together. It is NOT a race and everybody.... BODY is different. Plus keep in mind, those with more to lose lose it faster.
Andie

I lost 22.5 lbs before surgery which was on 3-19 and weighted in on 3-28and only lost 16lbs.... I get on the scales but they don't seem to move much...... I weigh in again on the 12th.. I know are bodies are healing and the weight will come off in time.......lets just all hold on a little longer it will happen I will be happy to lose 5lbs or anything next time it all adds up in the end....
Best of luck your not alone.........
Donna
