I'm still on puree. How much soup am I allowed? I can drink a cup for lunch - is that too much because I'm only to have 2-4 tablespoons of food. I usually have tomato, green pea or lential. Thanks, Robin

The reason you can eat more soup than your pouch can hold is that it is mostly liquid and runs out as you are eating. It would be best to limit your portion to a size that satisfies you, but does not necessarily fill you up. You won't damage your pouch by eating a cup, but it may slow your weight loss a bit, especially if the soup has a high carb count (watch the tomato!). You will find that as you add more solid foods, that you will not be able to eat as much. Joy -27 lbs

I was on cream soups, no more than 6 oz. No meal should be more than 6 oz.
