Weight loss question of the day...
Now that we are losing, I find it is hard to see any difference in myself. I think it takes a while for our heads to catch up to our bodies. But there are symptoms. So, my question:
What have you noticed about yourself that made you say "Wow!"?
For me, I can sit in a chair and bend over to tie my shoes now. So the bows are near the middle!
How about you?

My first noticeable thing and I don't really know why so early, but my ankles and legs aren't swollen any more....also, my face has bones again...people have already commented on that....plus my bras are on the tightest hooks instead of the loosest and my long coat can be buttoned all the way down and not have to leave the last button open.
People have told me they notice it in my face. Also today I put on something that I thought would look ok as it was a little tight a month or so before sugery and it was too loose to wear. So it is going in the bag "too large" to wear anymore.
Before surgery, 3X's fit well so my sister had to go shopping last week at a local ladies shop so I went with her. I decided I would buy some shirts and shorts in 1X for "later". I am already wearing them!!!
I went yard selling today and they tried to talk me into buying a size 12 dress. As that is so so hard for me to see me in it yet, I would not buy it.

My wedding ring is getting loose (no comments from the peanut gallery, please
). I haven't been able to wear my engagement ring for about 5 years and was too stubborn to get it resized. Last night I could put it on. That means a lot to me, needless to say, even if I have been married twenty-five years.

I lose weight in my legs, face, and "girls" first, so unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) I'm stuck in these same clothes for a while - just REALY baggy starting at the butt and going down...
So I feel the looseness around my thighs.
I also made a little photobook to document my journey. I had a friend take a picture of me standing on the scale in my shipping department at work. Just my face and the scale readout - 266 lbs. Then I had took full-length front and sideways pictures, and I took a picture before they wheeled me in to surgery. People say when they look at those pictures that they see the difference in my face. I don't yet, but it's only been 24 pounds. I'm looking forward to hitting 230, then I think I'll definitely be re-evaluating my clothes.
