The epidural is finally working right. Apparently they are no longer worried about a GI bleed. His only problem is a bit of fever. He is happy and being pampered by his mother, girlfriend and daughter. (Why wouldn't he be happy??) Joy -26 lbs

I'm so happy to hear that! I was getting worried about him! The thing that pops into my mind is that I wonder if his complications would have been worse had he had a lap instead of open. Maybe this was God's way of saying "No, lap is too dangerous for you." I mean, think about it - if he had blood loss with an open, think of how much more likely it could have been (and seriously so) if it had been lap. Thankfully, we will never know! Dina
