Down my first 20

Well it's 17 days out and I'm down 20 (since surgery and 39 since my first surgical consult). Haven't seen much movement in terms of clothing like I am reading alot about, but that's probably becuase my pants are all the strechy kind, and they will fit for awhile. Have some shirts that were tight and now fit better in the middle though, so that's good. I carry most of my weight in the middle, so when I lose, it is always in my hands, arms, face, feet, and legs first. Can't wait till the middle decides to catch up!! I think that so far, the best feeling for me was when the scale went below 300. I havent' been below 300 in years! mgm 330/311/291/135

That is wonderful. I have only lost about 30 Lbs. in 4 weeks. I wanted to ask you how did you set yourself a goal weight? I havent figured my goal out yet? Julie

I set my goal based upon the recommended weight for my height. I basically went with the number in the middle of the range. mgm

You are doing great. I also had surgery on the 16 and am only down 15 pounds in 17 days. Keep up the good work..........

I had surgery the same day and am down about 20 now also. My pants are the stretchy kind too...so won't make too much difference...where I am noticing it is in my boobs...LOL on the tightest hooks now and my bras are getting a little big....luckily in my eBay business I bought a wholesale lot of pretty bras and have them in all sizes...so I will go shopping in my own store soon.

Congratulations on loosing your first 20! I was down twenty after two weeks too but then went back to the hospital on IV and STOPED LOOSING . Just now home and loosing again. Robin March 2, 2004 Open RNY 247/222/130
