Well I am having a hard time understanding what "blenderized" food means. I take my egg or turkey peices and put them in a blender and push the button about three times until the item is broken into very, very small little pieces. Is that blenderized??? I don't know. Maybe it is mushy consitency. I don't know. I don't want to ruin my pouch!!! That is what I am afraid of. Help!!! Wendy Ann

I was told that it meant no lumps at all. Blend until smooth. Joy

My doctor never had me blend food. I was told to chew well. The first week was liquids, (broth, WATER, sugar free jello, sugar free popcicles) and week 2, start protiens. I have a hard tim keeping the protiens down so i bought WHey Protien from GNC and add it to sugar free pudding. All the sugar free stuff, I add Splenda to it. It tastes great. The doctor said it was ok to add the Splenda. I notice after about 2 tablespoons of anything i am full. Good Luck!!! I also have been using a website call Fitday.com to track what i do and eat, it ois an awesome website,a nd very helpful.

I was on pureed food the first 2 weeks. I could not fathom the idea of adding water to chicken or fish or vegtables and blending. So therefore I just ate yogurt (high protein), cottage cheese, protein shakes and peanut butter. Hope this helps.......

I was told to judge my puree diet by this standard: IF YOU CAN CHEW IT DON"T DO IT! I'm sick of blenderised meat and veggys so I switched to soups and cream cheeses (like Laughing Cow cheese). Robin March 2, 2004 Open RNY 247/222/130
