I have sooooooo missed all of you
Well let me update you on what happend to me...First let me say I am doing much better.. Just real weak..
When i was in the hosptial the first time i was given Toridol. (sp) Not once but 3 times and it cause a bleeder.. Your body knows when something is not right.. And i knew something was wrong that day i went back to the hospital. The only thing they can do at that point is wait and see..it is way to dangerous to run a scope or go back in... Well the bleed finally stopped blood count is still low but thats to be expected. i had it checked today was 7.6 but i am sure in time it will go back up.....
I am real enmic (sp) so i was told to try and start soft foods and start eatting. I am doing good with that... had yogart and some grits this morning.. seem like that helped a whole lot ....
I want to thanks everyone who was so worried about me. I so miss being able to be on the boards but gonna wait a week or so before getting on here alot... But all of you are in my thoughts... I miss the laughs and the late nights with toot..... But I will be back in full forse before long so look out.....(smirks)
I have gotten over 200 emails i could never answer them one on one...so here it is.....Thank you so much for your prayers and being there for me through all of this.... god has sent me a heaven full of angels and for that i thank him a million times over...You are all very special to me....and I WILL NEVER FORGET ANY OF YOU...... LOVE YOU ALL....
To Kimmer and Nicole....and Sherry.....I love you Gals....Muahzzzzzz

I know this represents a turning point for you of the good kind. I have had two infections and some wild trips to the ER since my surgery and thought that was terrible, but what you have been through is REALLY scary. I'm sure you'll be feeling good soon. And, let me tell you, when you feel good it's so great. This is the first day I can say I've felt really well since my surgery a month ago, apart from the fatigue which comes thankfully from some significant weight loss. You deserve all the good things that are coming to you.

Hey, sweetie...
I'm not correcting you...just adding something you and I talked about at length last night that MUST be explained:
TORIDOL IS AN NSAID!!!
This is "proof of the pudding" of what an NSAID can do to a WLS post-op, albeit an EXTREME case. By the grace of God, Misty is still here...and WILL be, with better days to look forward to!
This is why so many of us feel the hair rise on the back of our arms/necks and we go into
mode whenever we hear of someone who's taking an NSAID post-op. Again I stress, do what YOUR surgeon advises you, we can NOT give medical advice. But in this case, Misty's doctor PRESCRIBED the Toradol (or howEVER you spell this evil juice...hehehe...) as an IM pain med. OMG!!! I'm so-o-o glad my Doc warned me of NSAIDs pre-op.
Sweetheart, I'm so glad to hear you doing better, although you still sound very weak. Be good to yourself and TAKE IT EASY!!!
Love you bunches!
