got scoped...

well, i think we finally figured out what part of my problem was... i was sooooo gassy all of the time (and even moreso when i tried to eat or drink anything) and i was throwing up quite a bit. anyway, i met the dr. at the hospital yesterday morning and got scoped. lo and behold, i had stenosis (sp?) - the opening of my pouch (which was supposed to measure an 18 was only measuring a 4!). so, they stuck a little balloon thing in there and dialated it. so, hopefully this will help me with things as i was pretty damn miserable. i was only allowed sips of water after 6pm last night, and i'm back to clear liquids today and full liquids tomorrow. i'm so hungry i've already threatened to make stew out of my son's turtle! lol the dr. said that odds are that i will have to have this done again in about 3 weeks or so (because i was so new post op, they could only dialate me to a 15 safely). fun, fun, fun...

That sounds horrible, but I'm very glad you were able to figure out what the problem was. When we hurt, it's hard to heal. Here's lookin' at things lookin' up! (did that make sense?) Cheryl
