Cheeseburger BBL Gum & Teryaki Lozenges

We need flavor and chewing right? To help up with the emotional side of this. Why doesn't someone invent some bubble gum that tastes like cheese burgers and some sort of lozenge (like a breath mint) that tastes like forbidden things like Teryaki??? My surgeon says no gum do to the air you take in with it and also the potential to get stuck if you swallow it. I remember those diet breath sprays from a few years ago that were flavored like chocolate and were supposed to keep you from eating.

Gayle you crack me up!!!!! I did find some SF candy -- Strawberry and Cream (Creamsavers) Yummy -- good stuff. Keeps my mouth moist and gives good flavor. But, my Hunny and Kids were eating McDonalds (not something I just love) I'll tell you they smelled so good I was ready to lick the papers for the flavor. Whitney

Oh, you are so right. Head hunger is the worst. I will see a sign or pass a restaurant and I swear I start to salivate. I have been craving macaroni salad for the longest. So I have a secret to tell: I made the macaroni salad, and satisfied my taste buds, then I it all out. I know that sounds crazy but it satisfies my taste and I dont have to worry about hurting my pouch. I actually find myself spitting food out quit often. It works for me, but I know I need to quit.

I had my sugery on March 17th and my Doc told me I could eat anything I could tolerate. So I made macaroni salad....and it was awesome. It didn't make me sick.....I haven't had anything that has made me ill. I hope the next time you eat macaroni salad your pouch will enjoy it .

Actually, Gayle, there's a website that DOES sell strange candy like this (altho I don't think they have cheesburger bubblegum...). It's stupid.com. I haven't been there in a few months, but I'm a 'regular' there: they have some of the most bizarre stuff you'll find on this planet...toys, novelties...and candy. They have those jelly beans from "Harry Potter" that taste like spinich and other non-appetible stuff.
