End of the Month Musings
Hi everyone. Here we are, at the end of our month. I am so glad I found this board, the information you have provided me has helped to educate me through this life transition. The support you have showered on me has given me hope in the darkest moments. Now that we are at the last day of the month, I wanted to ask everyone to pause for just a moment to say a collective prayer for the two Marchers we lost. They were so courageous in their battle to overcome the dibelitating effects of morbid obesity. I can't understand why they didn't make it to the other side with the rest of us; I can only have faith in the belief that God needed them both for reasons that we won't understand until we are called home. God bless the families of these two courageous people and give them the strength and power to heal the hole left in their hearts. Also, we all begin the journey in earnest now. Starting tomorrow, April 1st, we can really watch, listen, and care about each other's successes, even with the inevitable set-backs. My wish is for everyone to take it easy, listen to their bodies, their new pouches, and learn to live happily without the constant, nagging voice of overeating, compulsive or otherwise. Embrace moderation. Enjoy moving your body! Play again, play long and hard and often. Thank you for letting me share these thoughts with you. God bless, Maureen
Maureen that was so Beautiful, I have said my personal prayers already for our 2 Marchers we have lost, this is a sad thing and I pray on a daily basis for all us! I also pray for the Marchers who did make it, that we continue to live a healthier life! Dont be sad, they are in a better place, where their is no more pain and no more suffering, they dont have to hear anymore ridicule from people who are NOT Overweight!

just my 2 cents on it! God is Good! God Bless us All!

it's sunday and it's definitely april as we pushed our clocks ahead last nite but i am catching up on the boards-
i have to agree with you maureen, this site has been wonderful, to be able to find peers *****ally are just that--so many on the other boards are way out from surgery or so newbie--oh,gosh! no offense to anyone reading! we've all been there!--but to be able to hear from people who are right there at the same point or a few days ahead keeps perspective alive!
i haven't been real active on this or any board this past week- have been busy trying to figure out my water/meals/walk/sleep schedule!!!!
