Venturing out for a walk!

Ok, it's like this ... 17 1/2 years in this house and I have NEVER once gone for a walk in this neighborhood (it's not a walking friendly area), but now there is a development sort of across the street that I think I can walk in, so off I go. I waited yesterday for Mr Mo to get home from work to take me to the mall to walk, and he was too late. Today I will take matters into my own hands and walk before it rains. Go, Mo, Go! Go, Mo, Go!!! I've never walked in my neighborhood, either...it 'rolls' all over the place, and any walking for me is s'posta be on a flat surface. Heck, it takes EVERYTHING I have in me to walk DOWN to my beach from the street...BACK UP is excrutiating (it's quite a steep and long road). You Go Mo! I live in an area where walking is out of the question so today I bought a walking fitness dvd and walked a mile in 15 minutes with some added muscle building. I was so proud I could spit! Keep up the good work Mo, you're doin' great! Cheryl

Ok Ok I'll walk too!!!!!! Hubby took me for a couple of walks around our block this weekend. I did pretty good. Our neighborhood is beatiful to walk in and we have a park a short distance away when I can get behind the wheel (right now is not a good idea, too drugged up to drive Besides, I can't hoist myself up into that big ol monster bronco I drive) I promise to get out and walk.
