Hey guys. My checkup didnt go like I thought it would. Someone had told the Dr. that I ate pizza and something about nachos.I have not had nachos. But anyway. SO he asked if I ate like I should and I lied and said yes. I never lie but firgured it was one mistake and I wanted to forget it. So he told me a little birdie told him and now I look like a royal a**. I wanted to crawl under the chair in hide but I know I wouldnt fit. So I am not in the best mood now. I know he wont believe what I say now and that sucks. I never lie. Well thats what I get. LaDonna

You have to be kidding!! Someone was that nosey and that rude to tell your surgeon. That was none of their business. I would have done the same thing LaDonna. If it was one mess up then it is something you probably rather forget. Don't worry about it. Do you know who told? Bethany AKA Da Offishal Riddler and Bertha 28 Days into NewPouch and feeling great! -35 lbs!!!! Yayyyy A riddle a day will keep the Marchers pounds AWAY!

No I dont. I know two people I met online that see him but I cant believe they would rat me out. I know one of his nurses had surgery so maybe she gets online or heck maybe he comes on and checks up on us. The more I think about it the worse I feel. Oh well. Thanks. I am glad you feel the same. LaDonna, We are human and your doctor knows that. He is not going to lose sleep over this and you shouldn't either. I would just let it go and continue to do what you need to do for a healthier and happier you. Don't let yourself get stuck in this negative thinking. A positive thoughts equal a new you!!! Best wishes Wendy Ann

Sorry to hear about that LaDonna. Your Dr probably checks out the boards periodically. Don't worry about it - just do your best and he will see you are sincere. You need to forgive yourself too! Everyone makes mistakes, and now you are a better person for it! mgm

I can't believe, in a day and age where it's hard to get a doctor to give you five minutes of undivided attention, that your doctor listened and remembered rumors about you from someone else! My advice would be just to keep a written journal and if he's that interested you can show him. PS, so what if you did eat a little pizza and/or nachos? The point of the surgery is to LIVE. Eventually we will be able to eat junkier foods (in moderation) like a "normal" person. The only problem with eating it now is that it's a waste of our window of maximum opportunity. Don't beat yourself up about it, just pick up and move on. One of our (when I say 'our' I'm generalizing the obese people I'm friends with and my own experience) problems is that we get off track because we focus on our slip-ups, figure it's all out the window, and really go off the wagon. You're not making a habit of it and it will be o.k. You don't have to hide under the chair. PS- My cardiologist is obese, I've seen doctors talk on a cell phone while driving - no one is perfect. It's ok to let it go. Keep up the good work, which you probably did 99.8% of the time! It was only a 0.2% lie, and if you round, that's no lie at all. Jen
