Life is good

Let me start off by saying Thank you JOy for your message. I am going to write and send a card to my ex with exactly what you suggested. I think it is a nice way to resond without giving any false hopes of us getting back together. I do believe that after him sending such a sweet card I needed to respond to it but wasn't sure how. You've given me a way to do that. Thank you. Reenie I will plan on going to the support group on the date that you said I hope that mike can make it too. I've got a few friends who might be there also who are either had or are going to have the surgery. It will be nice to play catchup. As for me on this long very nice and relaxing weekend. Thank god for long weekends! Yesterday I did my regular goign to the mall run. Picked up a brithday gift for my future son in law. Got a great sale at Macy's and picked up a new dress and soem pants for pennies of what it would have cost. ooooooo and at payless shoes I got THE most wonderful fancy dance heeled boots! These just scream sexy! Then got a wonderful sweater at JCpennys on clearance. Stopped at GNC for some protien bars. I don't use them all the time but when I go to the movies it makes me feel like I have a candy bar too! Then last night I went to see a silly movie "Acdepted". It was a funny teenagey kind of movie and I enjoyed it. I"ve still been alittle down about all my life changes but I'm trying really hard to keep busy. If my friends are busy then I'm finding things to do on my own. Tonight I'm going to a singles dance with another single friend. And tomorrow I'm going to have a mommy and me with my daughtter!!!!! FINALLY!!!! She's been so wrapped up in her future hubby to be that she has obsolutely NO time for her poor old mommy! I've been very good and not bugged her. You can just imagine my enjoyment when she told me yesterday that we can go shopping togheter!!!!! I'm SO excited!!! Now for the very best part. Today. Daytime today. what have I done? NOTHING. hahaha I have sat in my PJ's allllllll day. slept til almost 9am which just isn't like me at all I always get up at 4:15am every day. Then I Watched the aniimal planted channel that was kinda neat I love to watch animals and they had this program on about how they sensed the zunomie (sorry can't spell it) coming. Then I watched MTV and some crazy program about these 5 girls or 5 guys who get to compete for a date with another person. That was kinda funny too. Wow life sure has changed alot for game shows. hahaha I remember the orginal newylywed game show. I use to watch that when I was a kid and dream about someday getting married and maybe going on that show! Then becasue it was such an exhausting day I took a nap. Just got up for some lunch. ahhhhhh I'm going to start making this a regular weekend thing. I've needed a nice relaxing day for a long time. Oh sure I feel so guilty (NOT) about not doing the laundry or cleaning but what the heck I did take the dog out and even fed her plus the cats. They liked having me on that bed all day too. Let me tell ya I wasn't alone there! I had a cat on my tummy, a cat on my head and that 5 pound pomerian on my feet what more could I ask for??? And now I have tomorrow to look forward too. ahhhhhhhh Life is good. Hope you all had a wonderful labor day weekend.
