Heart Rate

Is anyone else experiencing an elevated heart rate? My HR was perfectly normal before surgery, but since then, my resting HR is over 100. My blood pressure is just fine. I was at the gym today and my HR on the treadmill was over 140 and I was only walking 2 mph. My doc says to keep walking and it will come down, but so far no luck. Connie

Connie, Me too!! Resting HR is between 99 and 106. In the hospital I was told that once my body is completely healed up from the surgery it will come down. Who knows?? Va

Mine is down fine for the most part but it does get to running quite fast when I dump. Right after surgery I had a couple nights where it took off on it's own, but I'm great now... Dina

Mine seems to like the low ta mid 90's right now. Much higher than pre-op, but my BP is also fine, so I'm not concerned. mgm
