Original Post by Melissa Reed at 2:31 AM PST on 03/29/2004 Woodsfield, OH - RNY (03/24/2004) I just wanted to let everyone know that melissa is back in the hospital and in critical condition. Yesterday at 3 in the morning she started having loose bowls that had dark blood and clots in it. She was taking by ambulance to Wheeling park hospital where it was deterimed by a surgeon that she had lost a lot of blood. They checked her hemoglobin count and it had dropped to 11. I just got off the phone with her and now it has dropped to 9 which means that she is bleeding somewhere. The next course of action will be to rush her into emergency surgery and try to find out what is causing her hemoglobin to drop. She wanted me to post so that everyone knows what is going on. I will try to post again when I know something more.. Gary

I am deeply saddenned to hear about the difficulties that Misty is having. She is certainly loved on the March board and I hope and pray for a speedy recovery, and that we will see her here, in good spirits, again soon. Caboose T-2
