I want a SCALE!!! Hubbie refuses to buy one he thinks that I will go crazy weighing myself every 10 minutes He said I'd find out soon enough (I have an appointment on the 6th) But (in the words of Violet from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) I WANT IT NOW!!!!! I think I may sneak off the neighbors house in a bit (I've gotta walk her son home cause it's getting dark) and use her scale. Just gotta know how much I've lost in 5 days. I'll let ya'll know if there is cause to celebrate Whitney 5 days as a citizen of Newpouch

Weighing on different scales is worse than having your own. No telling how they are set! Good luck! Joy

Whitney, be careful weighing on anything but your doc's scales. I weighed on my mom's...one of those big stand up scales and it said I had dropped 15 pounds! yahoooo! BUT when I went to the doc I had only dropped 11 so I was let down a bit. 11 pounds in a week is a LOT more than I have ever lost in one week before BUT 15 sure made me happier! ha! Good luck with everything...the good thing about this op we have had...I know it WILL come off and STAY off this time! On the losing side... Pattie

Hi Whitney, I DO have a scale, and yesterday I just HAD to know. Well, I was one pretty bummed out puppy when I hadn't lost anything. The good news is the scale redeemed itself today and I had dropped some, but my official record is what it says when I see Dr S. on the 2nd. Hugs, Mo doin' a happier happy Mo dance

Ok Angel Girl, Don't be too bummed out if you've either gained a couple of pounds or haven't lost an ounce. Remember I gained 2 pounds in the hospital and then didn't really lose much that first week. Fluid retention and swelling, can and will distort your numbers. You know I can't believe that neither one of my Angelette's own a scale....(scratching head)!!!! I have two!!! Remember to make it *offishal* only consider the doctor's office accurate. I can empathize with you 100% Whitney! I don't own a scale and when I told my doctor he said "don't go buy one!" So I haven't, but I've been so curious as to what my loss is. I'd have to agree with Joy though, if you weigh on a different scale you could end up being really bummed out when it doesn't show like it should. Just hang in until the Dr.'s visit if you can. Take care, Cheryl
