Prayers for My Angel

Hi all!!! Virginia is still having so much trouble. She is not getting in enough food or fluids and her surgeon is being such an A**. He told her that she would just have to force herself to comply with the contract she signed before surgery. I would love to give hime a piece of my mind. I'm so sorry to hear that she is still struggling! Virginia, sure wish I could help. Tell Taz to behave. Maybe if you sing to him after you feed him?? If you have to choose between food and fluids, take the fluids. Have you tried hot tea? That seemed to soothe Pepe last week when he was collicky. Do NOT let yourself get dehydrated! If you have to, seek out another dr (maybe your PCP). It WILL get better! (If not, Whitney and I will come after your doc!) Joy

Joy, That is so strange, I have been craving hot tea, but haven't given in to the craving as yet. It's been warm here in Oklahoma and my mind tells me it's a cold weather drink. Maybe I should pay more attention to my cravings...hmmmmm. At this point I'm willing to try just about anything!! Make sure she posts her Doc's name and city and state so others can avoid him. Thank God for my Dr. Shimer (Lake Charles, Louisiana) He is the best and very supportive. I had to call him on Saturday night since I had a little swelling I was concerned about he told me, "Pattie, you call me ANYTIME. I don't want you worrying." What an ! Tell Virginia it helps me to keep a styrofoam cup full of ice chips close by always. I wish her and everyone the best!

I am so sorry to hear about Va. She is in my prayers. I can not believe her doc is acting this way. Ugh!!! Pattie, my grandfather was from Lake Charles.
