6 month update

I had my surgery in september 2003 and I am at 116lbs lost so far. It feels great. I can fit in regular movie seats now, I dont need to have an extension piece for the seat belt on a airplane. I can fit in airplane seats. I am no longer to stand up in front of people. I walk with my head held high. I still have about 100 more to go but I feel so much better.

I'm not sure you meant to post this on the March surgery board, but I am so glad you did! What a major encouragement! I read in your profile where you were discouraged with your first couple of month's loss of 50 lbs because you couldn't see the difference. Many of us are going through that now too, but to see your progress just a few months later is a real delight! Congratulations! May the next 100 be quick an easy for you! Joy -22 lbs / 25 days
