Thanks for all of the advice you guys. I really appreciate it. I've stayed away from food so far and I think I'll continue to do so. I am gagging back a protein shake right now though. Glad to hear I wasn't the only one in this boat. Take care, Cheryl

I have been allowed Ibuprofen back in my life...so it depends on the doctor and your situation. It takes all my little aches away and lets me sleep well. It acts quicker than before and shuts off quicker than before. I had a bad pain last night on the right side have never felt anything on the left yet....but it was a "full pouch" and I kind of lay down and massaged little sweet P until she started emptying again I guess... It is amazing that we didn't have MORE pain than we did when you think of all the rearranging going on in there.... Hope you feel better tomorrow.

Cheryl, I am sorry about your pain. I have heard of several people having pain on their left side. I believe they went on liquids for the next day and they felt alright afterwards. If you are real worried I suggest you tell that nurse you want to speak to the doc. Bethany AKA Da Offishal Riddler and Bertha 23 Days into NewPouch and feeling great! -28 lbs!!!! Yayyyy A riddle a day will keep the Marchers pounds AWAY!

I totally agree, here. I understand that receptionists and nurses must protect their physician from "every little call," but if you are uncomfortable, somebody in that office needs to address your pain.
