First social gathering with desserts

Last night I had my daughter's 1st grade music show with refreshments to follow. Was not sure how I would feel about being in that room with all those brownies and CC cookies. Well, I was amazed - I didn't even have any desire for them. Paige went up and got a cookie for herself, and then we sat - her with her cookie and me with my water. Didn't bother me in the least. In the past I would have been at that table a few times! I was also able to discuss WLS with Paige's best friend's dad, whio has thought about it but never knew anyone who did it before. I'll be pointing him to my surgeon and this support group!! mgm & a very satisfied IDI Bitty
