:o) update on Mary lafurno

good eveing my fellow friends well been at the hospital all day with mary ,shes still in alot of pains as the days go by,although the nurses are now giving her demmoroil and valuium through the IV ..shes doing much better now...mary and i spoke on the phone this eveing about 11:30 pm she went for a walk down the hall.....haray!!!!!!!.....you go girl my love!!!....you one heck of a fighter girl...i miss ya ,and love ya so very much...cant wait til you begin your new journey...i look forwards to long walks now....as to myself i want everyone to know that i plan on quitting smoking not only for marys sake but for the saftey of our kids as well....i know its gonna be a tough call... on me ,so im just gonna try to get thru this..if mary can have this wls done and have the kind of guts shes got,then what do i got to lose?.... nada just live a healthier life and live longer together!!!!.....im even going to start walking and encouraging mary to go with me and the kids if i have to..well its now 12:30 am and i need my beautiy sleep so i can see mary in the morning and good luck to you all and god bless you!!! welcome to the winning team!!! Thank you for the update on Mary. Please tell her that I am praying for her! Things will get better!!! I think it's great that you are going to stop smoking for her and your kids and especially for YOURSELF! I will be praying for you also. I watched both of my parents and several friends struggle with stopping smoking and I know that it can be hard for some people to stop. You will both be in my prayers! God Bless!!! Richy - thank you so much for keeping us updated. Glad to hear she is walking the halls and doing well, but sorry to hear the pain is still an issue. How amazing it is to find so many of you from all over the world *****ally cares thank you so much and it feels great to try a new step for myself and as well as marys too...as she now doesnt have that craving for a cig! im am so proud of her,and yet she know and i admire that true friendship we ved had for many years yet to come!!it is now 7:30 am and im on my way back to the hospital Day (4)..by the way the last i heard from the dr is that mary may be coming home today or friday which in way i hope not this way she can get pain meds to help her feel much better...well please pray for us and ill be updating later again this eveing....Martha if your reading this ill be calling you later tonight when i get home ok sweet heart my other MOMMY!! hec hec hec......lol..we love ya Martha! Cheez, Richy...do you have a twin brother...who's not married or committed? I quit smoking this past Labor Day, and doing that was the first BEST thing I've ever done for myself (my WLS being the SECOND best). You can do it...if I can do it, anyone can!
