Quik update on Misty
Misty's DH Gary called me...what a character! Those two are a perfect match (as are so many on this board).
Misty's surgery went great, she was only in post-op recovery for 45 minutes (I think he told me...we talked a long time...laughed even longer!). She is, however, in a lot of pain. Apparently her hospital "doesn't believe in" the morphine pumps, so she's at the mercy of the nursing staff to keep her out of pain the old fashioned way: shots.
Gary plans to stay the night there with her, and will post on her behalf ASAP. Just wanted to keep ya updated a little more on her status.
Go, Misty, Go!!

Wow Kimmer - thanks for the update. All I can think about right now is about the issues in the recent past about patient's pain relief being of utmost importance. I hope they are Johnny on the spot with her!!! Of course, I didn't have a pump and I ended up doing fine, but still - sounds like she needs a little better relief.
As far as I'm concerned Morphine is way overrated. Gimme the demerol! LOL!
