Is it safe to say I'm back???

Sheeeesshhh!!! Seems like every time I get on here and say I'm back, off I go again. Well, I'll try this one more time. I'm back Marchers and boy have I MISSED all of you!!!! Well, it seems that I took a bad combination of vitamins (they THINK) and it caused swelling inside and out. I had hives and very much itching to go with it this time. Nothing could go through because of the swelling. So they took me completely off of fluids for 2 days and kept me on an IV. I was able to take fluids yesterday for lunch and supper and today so they let me go home. I got really depressed this time in the hospital because of having to leave my babies again so the first couple days in the hospital were awful. But once I started feeling better the depression started to lift too. I have been home about an hour now and I'm planning on heading to bed here very shortly for a little siesta. I have missed you all very much and I thank you SO MUCH for all your prayers and kind thoughts. You have all been wonderful. I especially thank Sarah for bringing me SF popsicles to eat in the hospital. They were very yummy!! (especially the banana ones! mmmmmm) Thank you Sarah and thank you for keeping everyone here posted. You are a dear friend and I'm so blessed to have met you as well as everyone else on this board. Carrie, I am glad to see you are home. I do not exaclty know what happened because I missed like a week of posts (I was in the hospital too) I yi yi..but I hope and pray you are feeling better!! Aw, CCQC... I'm so sorry for everything happening to you, but...IT'S SO GOOD TO SEE YOU BACK! I missed you, as many others have. You do what you NEED to do to start climbing back up on the health end of this...don't feel like you have to break any posting quotients here. Well Carrie - I do hope you are home for good! You have been greatly missed here! Glad to have you home. By the way - what were the vitamins you took that did you in? Were they chewables or did you swallow something too big? Dina -16

Hi Dina, I took 2 flintstones chewables and 2 vitamin b-12 lozenges (chewable or sublingual) at the same time. They tell me I probably had a reaction to the preservatives in them, too much at one time. I have been spacing them throughout the day and haven't had a problem with them that way. I just can't take them all at once! Hope that answers your questions!
