another two week post-op
Hi Everyone --
I had my two week post op visit today and everything was fantastic. My doctor didn't even yell at me for discontinuing my iron supplements. I was gagging everything I took the damn things and since I was feeling great, I just stopped taking them. I would never do that to medication, but the iron was because of an upper GI Bleed that I had after surgery.
I'm down 25.8 pounds!!!! In a normal diet this is about the point my body rejects the changes I've made and plateaus so I won't be surprised if I have a similar affect for a bit of time.
My doc was very pleased with my progress and attitude, but did comment that I was the first upper GI Bleed he has ever had. Oh heck, I just like being first I guess.
I am so glad I did this....I wouldn't trade it for the world!
