Hi everyone!! How is everybody doing? I want to first thank ALL of you for your thoughts and prayers. I think that was the only thing keeping me sane. Well, my pancratic enzymes are not suppose to be above 300. At this point, they are still at 560. I personally think they are going up again. They think this may be related to gall stones (although I had mine out in August 2002.) Doc said that sometimes they miss them and it can cause the pancreas to become inflamed. Well, I started feeling better today and low and behold... when I get discharged I start hurting like crap again. I am in tons of pain. I am scared because I do not know if you can get seriously ill because of this or what. I do not know if I should wait until I am out of pain meds before calling my doc. I am going crazy!!!! Sally, thanks for doing the riddles!!! If you don't mind, can you keep it up for a couple more days until I know what is going on. I need to lay down for now. Thank you all so much for your prayers. God Bless!!! Bethany

Oh Bethany, I'm soooo sorry you're having such a terrible time! I know it's scary. Keep in close touch with your doctor. It's better NOT to wait and see what develops. I think it must be a good sign that they discharged you though. I hope you'll be all better very soon! -Eve

Don't want to scare you, but acute pancreatitis can turn into chronic pancreatitis and can be very serious. I would encourage you to involve an endocrinologist if you do not have one already. Take care of yourself, Dear. We love you and are praying for you. Joy

Sweetie pie, It sounds like some people here have a clue about what you should do. I'm not one of them but I sure do trust those saying you should call your MD right away. We don't want you gettin' sick on us. You're one of the first Marchers. Why I remember you when you were just an itsy bitsy...well, you know. In all seriousness Bethany. Please take care. Caboose T-8

Thank you Marchers!!! I think I will call my doc tomorrow if I am in the same amount of pain. I just really hate going to the ER, getting poked, and then staying in the dreadful place. However, I promise, if I am not feeling slightly better by tomorrow I will call Him. Thank you everyone for your support and Sally...you are doing a wonderful job with the riddles!!! Thank you so much!!! I will be back before ya know it. Hopefully tomorrow or the next. Bethany
