The Scale and I

I'm a morning weigher. Take a pee, jump on the scale. For about 3 days, the scale didn't move and I didn't worry about it. On the fourth day, I thought, "OK, am I doing everything I'm supposed to be doing? Am I following the surgeon's rules?" I looked back at the last several days and realized that I really wasn't waiting 30 minutes after drinking water to eat and I wasn't waiting 30 minutes after eating to drink. I was hungry more than I should have been and was snacking. I started following the rules and was down another 4 pounds this morning. I'm using the scale as a barometer to keep me in check. If I become a slave to it, then I'll certainly have to re-evaluate the relationship between the scale and I. Connie - 25 pounds

Glad to hear that you restarted your losing. The modifications you made surely helpes, but it may just have been "catch up time" your body needed. Even if you are doing everything right, we need to expect some of these stall periods. I'm in one now too--gotta learn patience! Joy
