Say Cheee.....Uh-uh-uh......bleck!
Tried to eat dinner earlier and think I did a big no-no. Actually before dinner I was hungry and had a couple bites of low-carb ice cream since lunch was only 120 calories...thought I could handle it. Went to eat dinner a little later and discovered that I'm not ready for chicken nuggets and the mashed taters and sweet taters were demanding a quick exit. No doubt helped along by the low-carb ice cream.
Okay - so took a nap and got up and eliminated the rest of dinner and was HUNGRY. So I thought "Okay - cheese and Wheat thins - I can do that..." NOT. All I have to say is that if you eat too slowly - esp with soft foods - you can fail to get that full feeling. But when you eat too quickly, that full feeling doesn't catch up with you and before you know it you are ready to introduce ralph to john.
Okay - so I kept it down by the hair of my chinny-*****hins but man oh mighty I had a hell of a time doing so. I had to sip water to help loosen it up so it could go down a little. Yeesh. Remind me to not assume I'm invincible next time I marvel at how I'm able to eat "anything."

I am a little behind you two, but I know already what you mean...I am so glad I bought the recliner! If I eat too fast it sort of forms a lump....so if I sit in the recliner it eases as it goes down. and you can't trick it with the water before 20 minutes either....Sweet P lets me know she is still working on the food, thank you....if I drink liquid too soon. Recliner here I come again!
