I knew I was coming home on full liquids so I made some SF pudding with some extra protein powder in it (used Carb Solutions). That was the first thing I headed for! In fact, I'm about to make some more now. Joy

I think Kimmer orders it from walgreen.com. I got some unflavored protein from unjury.com. I have some cheaper stuff that I use as a flour substitute for baking. (Preop I was on low carb for years) The hunger will be much better post op. Promise! Joy

I got a can of PROMOD. It's the tasteless whey protein powder that many hospitals use. There's a lot of different brands of unflavored protein available.

Hey, sweetie!! Yup, Kathy had it right: it's Beneprotein (by "Resource"). I buy it online from walgreens.com (put "www." in front of that). It's $10.99 per canister, and a new canister has lasted about 1.5 weeks now, so it doesn't go quickly, it lasts a while, and is NOT costly by comparison to others. It's Whey Isolate protein. The best part is that they don't charge you any shipping charges, and from the time you order it, it arrives at your door exactly TWO business days later. You can order it now and it'll be there when you get back from the hospital. You can also buy it 6 canisters for $56.99 (or something like that... a little discount). I'm only buying it a canister at a time 'cuz it goes so far, and once I'm on 'real' food, I won't need it as much. But I throw this in when I'm making jello and pudding, throw it in my mashed 'taters, soup, cottage cheese, CIB...everything. In fact, I STOPPED using it in some stuff the day after I hit 97 g. of protein that day...stopped putting it in my liquids and soups. Getting my proteins in is not a challenge at ALL with Beneprotein. Sorry it took this long getting back to you...I'm TRYING to get back on a normal sleep schedule (not working very well...) and it's been a busy morning. If ya need any other info, just call me. So, are ya READY for Wednesday?!?!? Kimmer Queen of the Niners, Instigator to All Marchers, High Priestess of Giggles
