Hi guys, I need some advice. I am6 days post op (yeah, I said it!) My back hurts, I know I'm suppose to take liquid Tylenol, (childrens) but cant find sugar free. I read the bottle of regular childrens & had corn syrup. Has anyone tried this & was ok? Thanks in advance....Linda N.

I dumped on tylenol 3 times before I realized it...I had aches, I took tylenol liquid, I had diarrhea, racing pulse, more aches, took more tylenol...etc, Too much sugar! My doctor has allowed me to go back to my fave ibuprofen and life is good again...

Mary, I bought a big bottle of the regular adult liquid Tylenol, and read someplace that someone dumped after they took it, so this person called the Tylenol 800 number and they told her it had 9 - 11 grams of sugar per serving, needless to say, I am not even going to try mine. The people at Tylenol told her they were sorry and would refund her money, this person said all it says on the ingredients is corn syrup, why isn't the grams of sugar listed instead. So hopefull Tylenol will list the sugar grams in the future. Hope this helps Mary. God Bless, Betty

Linda, You might want to check with your doctor, but mine says that I can take pills if they are broken up into pieces no bigger than a pea. I was afraid of the liquid Tylenol, although I bought a big bottle so they told me I could break up the tablets and try that. No problems. I'd check with the doc to be sure and take it with food so it doesn't wash through you. Connie

Tylenol geltabs are about pea size. My doc sent me home with vitamins and pain pills bigger than that! I'd go for it, but try not to swallow air with it. Joy

Hi, I would check with your doctor or your clinic. I was still on liquid prescription medication at that point. Tylenol hasn't been one of those medications I've even tried and I am over a year out. Good luck with your journey. Deb

STrange how Dr's are so different. I can only take tylenol tablets cut into pieces. I can never again have ibuprofen. My dr says no gel caps.. no pills with any kind of coating on them at all. I have this entire list of stuff I cant have anymore.
