I weighed...
Well, I had made a promise to myself to not weigh myself until every 12th of the month. Well...Its all my husbands fault! He bribed me, First with a 50 dollar bill and then with a new pair of sneakers...Well, I took the sneakers. A nice new pair of Sketchers, oh so comfortable. Anyway, I didn't have to look at the scale but when hubby was so amazed, I just had to see it. I was so happy I cried. 12 pounds gone in 7 days!!!!!
244 day of surgery and now 232!!!!!!WOOHOO!!!!

that is great! Doesn't it just make your day?
I am a big time weigher...I have a nice digital right by my bedroom and weigh naked in the morning, but before I went into surgery I took 3 weights...one naked, one with clothes and one fully dress with shoes on like when you are in a hurry....so I could gauge the differences....but you know what??
I am still thinking like a fat girl, when making every little ounce mean something to try and justify why I am not losing..."oh it was my clothes" " do you see how heavy this sweater is?" or " I was 5 lbs less this morning without clothes!" I think we are all going to be thinking like normal people pretty soon and it won't matter!!
I gained 10 pounds of fluids in the hospital from Tuesday to Thursday...as of today, Saturday all the fluids are gone. That means my losses will start showing soon too and I am so excited!
wow Kelley that is GREAT !!!!
I am going to count my official total weight loss from my initial consultation with Dr S. on 1/29/04, even though I lost 6.4 pounds over the two visits up to March 4. I will weigh myself on Monday a.m. here at home before I go to the hospital just to have an idea to go on here at home. I hope I can have the patience to weigh no more often than once a week and preferably only once a month! LOL
Hugs,
Mo
