I love this iidea - let's do it! Let's just book a 3-day cruise, the only thing is we'll have to depart out of a major city, right? It's not like we can just ferry over, we all have to meet and board at the same time and same place. Let's shoot for early March, what do you guys think? Let's not sweat it -- whomever can make it, I'll see you there! What a blast this will be...and I'll strut my stuff in a bathing suit in front of God and everybody without a flicker of fear! Let's do it! Significant Others Optional. Reenie

Reenie, Count me in on a cruise. That would be SO wonderful! If anyone cares to go to Mexico for either a 3 or 4 day cruise, there are departures from Galveston. Just thinking that this neck of the woods may be "neutral" for everyone? OK - truth be told, I'm just trying to save myself some air fare!! I'm offering to pick up/drop off to any and all airports in and around the Houston area. Carnival and Royal Carribean departs from here. I'm a past passenger of Carnival and I'm always getting good deals via email....Just a thought - we have plenty of time! By the way - I'd come stag! Woo hoo!! Loving ya! -W-

I hate me for saying this but I just have an aversion to cruises. I probably won't make this....

I can't believe I actually suggested a cruise. Never been on one in my life and always thought it was the cheesy way to take a vacation. I'm up for everything and anything these days. Think of all the fun things we can share... Sea sickness, Legionaire's Disease, Scurvy... Hugs, Connie

We are going on a cruise in October, but if it's just a 3 day thingie, and it's not until March, then count me in. Sounds like a blast! Joanie

I'm in if I can make it work with the budget!!! Can you find out what a group rate would be? I think it'd be a blast. And I will actually get into a bathing suit with you....well, errr not WITH you, I'll get into my own. And stand next to you.

O.K Since I have absolutely no money right now, maybe by March I will have. Sounds like a deal we should not pass up. We have all wanted to meet for quite some time. I don't have a significant other so it would be solo for me anyway, & should I have one in March I will still come alone. If it's a 3-day thin I cold probably work that in even though I would not actually be intitled to any vacation from a new job, yet. Since I am currently looking for work, again!!! I am trying to figure a way to get to San Diego in the next week (just to see my Mom) & haven't been able to even do that. Marilyn, the Bearlady

I'm good to go whether it's a cruise or a camel ride. Doesn't matter as long as you guys are there. I know that soon they will be requiring passports for travel to Mexico, but I don't know if that applies to cruises or not. Maybe the lovely Leslie Jaded Princess can fill us in. I think she's our resident travel agent. We can leave from California, Florida, Texas or any other port as far as I'm concerned. There's no beach front property to leave from here in Arizona (as long as the San Andreas Fault doesn't act up) so Marilyn and I have to travel to get to a ship anyway. If we do a cruise, I'll probably have The Man in tow. After retiring as a Commander in the Navy Reserves after 29 years of service, there's little chance of keeping that man off a boat. Heck, he's happy with a pool raft and a large puddle. Of course if you guys want to stay land locked, Arizona is absolutely gorgeous in March. Hugs, Connie
