YAAAAHOOOOIIIIIIEEEEE!!!!

Just got a call from the hospital for my preop instructions. My surgery has been moved from 1pm to 10:20am. I am sooooooo excited right now. This has been one hell of a week. Spent a few days sick, then my aunt goes into the hospital (still don't know her prognosis), and then this. The excitement of the surgery is keeping my emotions regarding my aunt intact, and at the same time, my concern for my aunt is keeping my mind off the surgery enough to keep me from freakin' out about it. I left work today - my last day in the office until 4/16 - and was just soooooo over joyed. This is really happening, and I'm now at the point where just one more corner to turn and I'll be there!!! I am having surgery the same day, but I have one more day at work. It is our bi monthly payroll and I take care of it for our big department, so I said I would be there Monday...then I am taking off 2 weeks and hope to go back for the next payroll at least half a day.

Good for you. I just got my JP drain out today, 11 days Post. Get ready for a great ride. And while it isn't for everybody, I was able to return to work full time after just a week. I got tired by the end of the day, but I was able to put in my 8 hours.
