OK - surgery is Monday, and I've been slowly freakin' out. I picked a fight w/ my husband last night and was ready to sell my 2 children to the highest bidder. Y'all understand what I'm going through. I can only imagine what I'll be like by Monday morning. Where is my PROZAC??!! I need a big Marchers group hug! Thanks!! -Wendy Prozac Princess (I think that'll be my new title - what do ya think?!) Open VBG 03.15.04

Sorry, I'm in a somewhat cavalier and cynical place today.

Wendy I totally understand where you are coming from!!!! It seems as thought I can do anything but clean and grip. I was in the process of ripping my husband a new one while ironing all of his jeans...however, I had to walk into the kitchen to get on to my daughter for eating cheese out of the bag while the icebox door is hanging open. Lord, give me and Wendy a peace that surpasses all understanding. Amen! Shannon The Irish Lassie 3/17/04

It's a week-before thing, Wendy. As long as you don't do anything permanent, you and your kids will recover! Joy

Wendy, First, so far you sound normal. I have been alternating between selling my hubby, trading him for a box of pop tarts, or GIVING someone a box of pop tarts and PAYING them to boot for taking him off of my hands! It's a good thing that he loves me, huh. When I went into Meltdown Mode at the grocery store he had the presence (s/p?) of mind to pat me on the shoulder and move me away from the Costco size boxes of hot pockets! He told me that he's a big boy and that he knows he's the only one I have to take aim at right now and that I can 'aim away' but I can't drive him away. He says he wants to stick around to see how well this works for me.... notice he didn't say IF it works? Things like that are why I say he's my hero. Like one of the others said, just don't do anything permanent and the kids will be fine.... maybe rather than sell them you can just rent them out for a bit! Really though, do you have a friend that they could have a sleep over with, just so you can have so "ME" time? Or maybe just some "Hubby and Me" time? Some soft music and a bubble bath do wonders for the outlook..... Gayle Queen of Yarn Balls
