it hit me

hi-- it hit me this morning what i have to go through in 6 days to lose weight--my kids are off from school and i am very irritable, crying, bad headache--im stressing from the reality if it all-i know everyone goes through this but it makes me feel better to get it out--thank god for this message board--thanks for listening!

Kerry, I know you are irratable right now. You are stressed. I was like that. I snapped at everything that stood in my way. I am much better now that I am 10 days post op. You are 2 days behind me and I was like that 2 days ago....now with 3 days left I am calmer. We are all going through turmoil. My doctor also warned me there may be a depressed feeling afterward too...all the build up over the past months will be over and sometimes a huge let down of emotions.

Kerry, what you're going through is normal, and thank GOD we have this forum to help each other through the laughter and tears. Shoot, I was like that when *my* kids were little, and I wasn't even facing surgery! Big ol' hugs, -Marcie
