FINALLY HOME!

HI all, I am finally home from the hospital. I had surgery on Monday the 8th but some bleeding complications made them keep me an extra day. I am still bleeding but not as much. It was really freaking me out! They let me come home with the drain still in place and I will return next week on Tuesday to have it removed. I had to find another great use for a sandwich baggie..It covered my drain site so I could take a REAL SHOWER! The surgery was no where near as bad as I had thought. Was really a piece of cake compared to a bone graft I had in 2000. And nothing to compare to a C-section either! I think the hardest part was the 2 days prior to surgery when only liquids were allowed. My stomach growled continuously for the 2 days. But amazingly..I have not felt a hunger pain since! I am quite anxious to see the pounds fall off...so hopefully I have lost a couple since last week. I want to thank EVERYONE for their encouragement and their wonderful emails. It makes a difference having you all know what another is feeling and going through! I love this site and I love you all!!!
