I visited Kimmer yesterday

Hi all, Yesterday I went and visited Kimmer. She wasn't feeling so hot. Her back and I think hips were aching. She thought perhaps it was the fibro. Also she was feeling really nautious. She kept getting the feeling she was going to hurl. I told her to use a tooth brush or something and get it over. I think she is getting that foamy saliva that makes you feel real yucky until it comes up. Since I have the same surgeon and my appointment was right after my visit with her I told him all about it. He was going to change her meds. No more morphine drip. The poor thing hadn't even had any protein yet and it was 4:00. You all should here from her soon. Doc usually only keeps you two days. She seemed to be a bit more uncomfortable than I was so it might take her a bit to ge on the board. Good luck to you all Shantel

You, my dear, were a God-send! Dr. Schneider came in and just looked at me and laughed. Told me you'd told him how pukey I'd felt, and d/c'ed the morphine, told me "You'd make a lousy drug addict". As soon as that POISON was no longer flowing in my veins, I started perking. It WAS the morphine...I've had it numerous times before, so it was so not what I expected! But I have to thank you from the bottom of my pouch for calling his attention to my nausea! I've gotta say, I just love that guy! I THINK I was kneeling on my bed with my head hanging over the emesis basin the last time you saw me, right? LOVELY sight! Well, I'll have you know I'm walking upright like a real **** sapien now, am truckin' around, inhaling Fruit-2-O, Iced Botanicals and am gettin' in my fair share of protein as required. Doc told me to crush my fibro meds and use 'em, and my back/hips are way better - think I dodged THAT fibro bullet for now! I'm about 150% better than when ya saw me. Thanks so much for comin' to see me, Shantel! You really made my day! Even if I DID look like Linda Blair in "The Exorcist", unlike the TOTAL BABE that you looked like!
