surgery in 6 days......

My surgery is coming up very quickly and the past few nights I have been experiencing weird and strange dreams. Is this normal, is it just my fears? Haven't slept much lately. Thanks for your help.......

The week before surgery is some sort of psychological mine field, I do believe. The stress of everything seems to focus there. Weird dreams would seem to be one of the more normal manefestations. Do try to get some sleep though, even if it is naps in the day time! Joy Had some real doozies of dreams in the hospital on the epidural. Apparently even that has some spacy drugs in it!

mine is the same day and I don't know whether it is dreams or not, but I sure haven't been sleeping well...was on the boards last night at 4 AM,

I actually have been so anixeous that I haven't been sleeping... I sleep like 2-4 hr. two times a day

I had strange dreams, too. I wish I had written them down. Just be really nice to yourself this week. Everything is normal and it just shows that you're aware of the whole process. If you're weren't concerned, you'd maybe have a hard landing after the surgery. Best to face it all up front and then be in a position to breeze through it or to take it as it comes. Gano
