Help me get ready!!!
I am twelve days from having surgery. YEAH!!! I need to know what people took to the hospital. I don't want to take too much but enough to make me feel comfortable. Oh..I don't have a robe...will should that be okay??
Also, what is the do I absolutly need the first week when I am home. I hate to buy to much and then not need it.
I will be a busy, busy girl this weekend getting everything together so I can spend the next weekend with my family.

Wendy Ann, Hi and welcome. I just want to give you a heads up that most of us have asked that question and there is a wealth of information in our back posts....if you just keep clicking on "view older posts" at the bottom you can look back and find a lot of things there that might interest you. I think we usally take too much and don't use it all. I am taking my makeup, stuff for dry lips, lotions, a back scratcher and wipies (the back scratcher may come in handy for an extended arm) and under panties and I am bringing a caftain robe that I opened up the shoulders on with ribbon ties to wear while being hooked up to an IV. I am taking a rolled back pillow to hug while walking and my crossword puzzles and magazines and instead of flimsy slippers I bought some Tommy Hilfilger slip ons that are supportive but easy to get on. I will wear home the clothes I come in and they should be loose and comfy. Last time I was in the hospital in 2002 they give you a kit of toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, lotion and mouthwash.
