I had LAP RNY on 3/01/04 and am doing great!!! Was in the hospital two days and am already walking 1/2 mile total each day! I have lost 21 pounds...in 9 days!!!!!!! Can you believe it? What a blessing!

That is fantastic....I am so happy for you! I am seeing a pattern here, that the Lap RNYs are just a tad quicker to feel better than the Opens...but I think that was to be exprected...same with gallbladder surgery.... I am having Open but that's ok...just want to get it over with.
