4 days and a wake up

Time is getting closer and closer. Funny thing is.. I am not scared, or nervous. Since I got married, everything has kinda calmed right down, and I feel as though I am ready for anything! I have prayed for help in calming my fears, and I think...... I am just plain ready to be done and over!! I thought I would be freakin out. NOw this is NOT to say on Sunday, I wont be a basket case, but.. I hope not. *LOL*.. whooo hoooooo ...... I am almost on my way! Pre ops were completed yesterday, and this silly breathing thing is like attached to me wherever I go.... *grin*..

What is the breathing thing? I don't have to have one.

I think she's referring to her spirometer. Do you have yours yet? I got mine at my pre-op testing yesterday and was told to use it four times a day (15 breaths) beginning two weeks prior to surgery (which for me, will be Monday). HTH! Hugs, -Marcie

Yes, thats it the spirometer! I think it doesnt matter how well you do on the breathing thing. This is to make sure you are breathing well after surgery, and you dont develop pnemonia.... or something. Its quite a deal. I have sat with it while on the computer last night, and today while I was playing games. The darn thing, sometimes if you dont make sure you have all your breath out.. when you suck in, it hurts to get it to the numbers they want!! I can only imagine what it will be like after the gut is cut!!! hahaha.. oh well.. if they want it done.. I will do it..
