Saw the Surgeon again today...it is so REAL!

I had my final consult...they have me take a little quiz first to see if there are any areas of the whole surgery and after care I don't understand and I aced it! Then I found out my schedule, as I am seeing quite a mixed bag here...every surgeon does it differently. I have clear liquids only 2 days before....water, sugar-free jello, gatorade, broth, sugar free popsicles. I have 3 antibiotics I have to take 1 and 2 days before surgery. After surgery, I will be on clear liquids only and protein supplement 2 times a day first week, then I can add egg whites, sugar free pudding, low fat cottage cheese, yogurt, and pureed canned peaches or pears until I have my post-op appointment 2 weeks after. 1 chewable multivitamin and 2 chewable calcium tablets, their product, each day. It is so REAL! I told the surgeon about us and naming the pouches...told her mine is Sweet-P and she giggled...then the assistant started calling it that in her instructions! I gave my surgeon permission to have students watch the surgery --I feel I won't know it and she will probably do an extra good job in front of them! LOL. Now, it is just wait 3 days until the 2 days before surgery routine starts. I am ready!
