ALL DONE - HI MARCHER'S
March 4th. OMG, I am so glad I got home yesterday 3/9. and it is over with. I think the hospital was trying to kill me. I did have to stay a couple extra days because of the headaches and nausea. Kimmer is having those too. She might want to stop using the morphine pump. I was getting my headaches from the morphine. TERRIBLE headache. So, they got rid of the pump and gave me liquid headache stuff.. which then highlighted the nausea. My gosh, don't let anyone tell you that you have an empty system. the was bad. I had a leak test and that came back 100%, so good news there. Of course, not doing anything like most people, I did have my gallbladder removed and when surgeon was inside looking things over, he discovered a cyst on my ovary. GYN had to be called into surgery for a consult and then calls to family for permission to yank it out. Now.. i had a hysterectomy 28 years ago and dr said he left an ovary for natural hormones.. I forgot I had it, so I figure this surgery was a life saver for me. the mass was found to be benign. Imagine if it wasn't. Anyother March WLS is done.
Well, good luck to all of you still waiting for march.. I can't believe the month is 1/3 over. Janet
Sorry for all the trouble, but I'm so glad you are back, Jan! And it sounds like you got a full overhaul while you were in there! I'm amazed he checked your ovary--it is not in the same hemisphere as your stomach!!!
I hope you are on the mend now and done with the nausea and headaches. Believe it or not, it's been less than a week to go through all of this and it will get better from there. Best of all, YOU ARE A LOSER NOW!

Well I am glad he foudn the cyst so it will not cause you problems later. I am having my gallbladder removed and I think I will tell him to go ahead and look around a little more...see what else should not be there and yank it out too. Already tried the hysteroctomy, he said it was too far down for him.
