Not as dramatic as some, but once I got started at 5 days post op, it has been really steady. It is more than I have ever lost in 10 days before! I keep telling myself not to panic when it stops for a rest--that is a part of the process too, but the loss is definitely a fun part of the new life!!! Just thought I would share. Some lose fast, some slow, but once you cross over to the losing side, YOU WILL LOSE!!!! We are marchers! WOO-HOO, glad to hear Joy. A pound a day, who can ask for more? Thank God we are given the chance. I lost 25 lbs the first week, but now these last 3 days I am at a stand still, I thik my body is trying to think of a new way to try and hold onto all this blubber, but soon I will be victorius as the little things will have nothing to cling to. Away with them! Keep up the good work.... Janelle 3-1-04 lap rny -25 lbs

Hang in there. After that big jump your body has to catch up with itself! It will start up again on its own. You are doing great! Joy

Now that's the kind of posting I've been waiting for! I'm so looking forward to all of us sharing our successes. I know we'll have struggles too but the successes are so inspiring.

AWESOME feeling isn't it. I'm keeping up with you! I have lost an official 13 lbs as of this morning. Of course the beginning weight was the one taken at the hospital. I swear that those scales are calibrated to make us weigh 5 lbs more than we actually do. Do you weigh yourself at the same time every day? The little engine that could. Chuga chuga choo choo
