St. Patrick's Day!!!
I'm a newbie to posting but have been reading the boards daily for over 2 months now!! I finally got the call today from my surgeon....surgery is set for March 17. Still not sure if they've sent everything into insurance company yet, but I figure they wouldn't have given me a date if they had any doubts about approval. So as of right now....I'm at 8 days and counting
Oh I'm so full of information...not only from reading the posts and pretty much this entire site, but also from other sources and talking to people locally who have had the surgery. I've watched the surgery on the net...read anything and everything I could find and asked so many questions of anybody I could find LOL I feel really relaxed, comfortable and confident with my decision and my surgeon. Even though nobody knows me on here, I just want to thank everybody for sharing their experiences and answering the questions that I probably wouldn't have asked LOL
Top of the mornin to ya, and the rest of the day as well!
Congrats on your date, and may God be with you. I had LAP done on 3/1 and I'm feeling great. I returned to work on Monday and while I get a bit tired, it has gone very well. Being Irish myself, and being married to an Irish Lass, my big problem is that I'll be missing out on corn beef and cabbage this year. I usually prepare it for my office as well. For about a second I considered trying to puree some, but I would probably dump bigger then life on the high fat of the meat and blow my staples with the cabbage. Nah, I won't risk it and I'll bring along a can of soup to the party. I' ll enjoy a little strained soup, some good company and I will be just fine.
I hoping for a problem free surgery and a quick recovery for you.
