GF Update

On Sunday I posted a prayer request for my girlfriend as she was scheduled for a tough week before she comes to be with me for the surgery. I called her today to she how her mom was after back surgery yesterday. Mom is doing ok..she has 10 pins in her back on every veterbrae. It was a 7 hour surgery and they did not finish till almost 1 last night. As my GF answered the phone I thought she was crying. She is SICK!!!!!!!!!! She has been on ZPAC for 10 days and just got off it and the cold is coming back!!!!!!!!!! Please Please pray for spiritual healing.

Is it possible for your sister to be on standby for you? I think it would relieve some stress for both you and your friend to know there is a backup plan. You may not need anyone there very much. I did not. Of course I will pray for you all, Sugarplum. Joy

At this point my sister is not an option. She has chaos in her family and she will have the full responsibility of mom while I recouperate. I have decided once I get over the main hurdle I will send my girlfriend home. Then I will only need to find someone who can bring me home from the hospital. My sister might be able to do that or one of my neices. There is a really nice elderly lady from my church that will come stay with me during the day when I get home from the hospital to answer the door or phone if I need it. She is so sweet. She kept me as a baby and lives near by. But I think by Sunday or Monday I will be up and running like the rest of you. And I have had other offers of help after I get home. So once I am home...I will be fine.
