and, i'm off!

well, it's official. everything is all packed and ready to go. my parents are on their way here to stay with my son. i've been doing clear liquids all day and have been dealing with the not so pleasant side effects of fleet phospha soda (). my stomach is an absolute mess! between nerves and fear and excitement and the soda stuff... ! anyway, thank you all again for all of your support. i know i came to the boards with not the best attitude, and you all were still kind and supportive of to me. i just want you all to know how very much that means to me. my hubby will be home in about half an hour and then we're leaving - staying in a hotel tonight near the hospital (we have to be there by 530am!) and then surgery is in the morning at 730. i will update as soon as i'm home and able. kym
